TECHNICAL LABORATORY FOR SOIL & BUILDING MATERIAL TESTING was established in Dubai in the year 1990. It is the first local owned soil investigation and testing laboratory in the United Arab Emirates. Technical Laboratory started its operation modestly with geotechnical investigation and construction material testing. Subsequently the laboratory expanded considerably and established itself as one of the leading and reputed laboratories in the United Arab Emirates. Technical Laboratory is best known for its reliability, accuracy and exemplary services to the clients. As a part of further expansion a new additional testing and office facility is set up adjacent to the present facility of about 4000 sqft.
Technical Laboratory employ highly qualified and experienced professional engineers and skilled and trained technicians and drillers. It has the state-of-the-art equipments for drilling and testing activities.
Since its inception the company was focusing on reliability, accuracy and efficiency to keep customer satisfied and to have an edge over its competitors. Sensing its importance the management made them as an integral part of quality policy. The quality management system of the laboratory evolved through the years keeping in pace with the International developments in quality management system and outlook. The quality system was initially considered as a separate function and depended considerably on inspection for quality control. In the present system quality is not seen as a separate function and it is integrated with other business functions and business conducted as a system of processes. Every process has a process owner and responsibility for quality and thereby quality is built into the output. The system helps to organize its operations as processes where customer requirements are not overlooked at any stage of its operation and the efficiency is increased.
