Al Salaam was established in 1974 by Khalil Khoury, the practice grew in tandem with the rapid economic development of the UAE and by the mid 1980's, Khalil Khoury was joined by Fadi Assad and Hamdi Natsheh. Today, Al Salaam has successfully completed hundreds of projects throughout the UAE as well as notable works in Lebanon, Oman, Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom
