Vimentina Limited was formed especially to develop and build the new breed of solar thermal power energy production arrays now emerging onto the international market.
Concentrated Solar Energy (CSE) is the way forward in utterly sustainable, renewable energy, harnessing the natural light and heat of the sun to produce electricity which can be fed directly into a national grid system or used specifically to power homes, industry and leisure facilities in a given area.
Vimentina has been working for some years with Lloyd Energy Pty and Solastor Pty in Australia, leading exponents of solar thermal power technology, to bring viable power generation to Cyprus.
The EOS system has now been approved and licenced by the government of the Republic of Cyprus, the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC). TSO and RES for installation on the island.
Vimentina hold the licence from the Australia companies to market and build the EOS system not only in Cyprus, but throughout the southern Mediterranean area.
Vimentina is bringing a new era to solar power in the Northern Hemisphere – 24 hour electricity at the lowest possible price.
