Our story in Milestones
- 1968 Founded in 1968 in Dubai, U.A.E., as “Tiger Steel Factory”, Tiger Steel Engineering started as a 20-employee steel workshop.
- 1975 Within just few years, the company grew up to 100-120 employees and the working capacity that allowed it to manufacture and build light steel structures.
- 1984 Tiger Steel Engineering opened its factory in Sharjah, while reaching a total workforce of 350 staff and labour. Its area of expertise was focused on tanks and vessels, as well as other industrial and commercial steel structures.
- 1993 Tiger Steel Engineering diversifies its portfolio by establishing a subsidiary focusing on the metal cladding industry. Today acting as a separate entity, Tiger Profiles and Insulation is positioned as one of the major players in the metal industry.
- 1995 Tiger Steel Engineering started manufacturing, supplying and building heavy steel structures for the Oil and Gas, Power and Infrastructure industries, while serving the biggest players in these industries and contributing to landmark projects throughout the GCC region.
- 2007 In response to the rising demands for super-seized steel structures,
Tiger Steel Engineering expands its facilities to 280,000 sqm. land area in Abu Dhabi, which includes open yard and heavy fabrication areas, covered and open yard paint shops and storage areas.
Today, with more than 1,800 employees and availing on more than 320,000 sqm. at our facilities in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, we have the capabilities to deliver in excess of 5,000 tons of structural steel monthly, whether the project is an Oil, Gas or Power Plant, an infrastructure development such as an airport terminal or a high-end commercial centre.
