SEAS-NVE has been involved in wind farms since the late 1980’s with construction of onshore wind farms in our own region. Later the company has been involved in land based wind farms all over the world from Russia to South Africa and Brazil to Australia. Offshore SEAS-NVE erected the Worlds first wind farm, Vindeby, off the North coast of Lolland in 1992. On the Nysted Offshore Wind Farm, commissioned in 2003, SEAS-NVE played a major role from planning and design to installation and commissioning. Today SEAS-NVE own and operate the offshore high voltage substation as well as the export cable system.
