Samko Engineering and Contracting Co., Inc. was established by Mr. Sami Gurel in 1994, based in Istanbul, Turkey. Further to substantial growth of business in Romania, in 1997, Samko Instalatii Mecano-Electrice S.A. was established in Bucharest, which took over all the operations in this country from then on.
In 2004, Samko International WLL in Qatar and Samko Engineering and Contracting Co. Inc. in the Russian Federation was established.
Since the establishment of the first company of the group, the amount of total commitments made by the above companies in multi-service engineering and contracting have exceeded 250 million USD.
