Quest International was created out of a desire to forge a new dynamic Fire Safety Systems company, specializing in obtaining Qatar Civil Defence Dept, QCDD compliance and approvals for new and existing buildings in Qatar on behalf of its clients.
Our Managers and Engineers had worked for many years in this specialist field and observed that many Clients and Contractors were increasingly unfamiliar with the QCDD requirements relating to building compliance and final issue of a Fire Safety Certificate.
Many buildings of different types were being constructed without first obtaining QCDD design approval prior to commencement and in most cases, little or no QCDD compliance documentation existed at the completion of the project.
Appointment of a Qatar Registered Consultant, QRC, is required for all new construction in the State of Qatar. The QRC will act as an independent third party as recognized by QCDD and will conduct design review, site supervision, witness of Testing & Commissioning of all fire safety systems, review/compilation of QCDD related documentation, and submission of compliance reports prior to QCDD final Inspection.
