Polensky & Zoellner was founded in 1880 in Driesen (East Germany). This was the Era when the railroad lines, rivership lanes and the inland ports were under construction. The company developed in all fields of construction business successfully. Major bridges, tunnels, power plants, dams, shipyards, industrial plants and Buildings executed showed the technical competence and strength of Polensky & Zoellner.
In 1930 PZ went abroad activities in Holland with a new Shipyard and the Tunnel for the Grossglockner Mountain Pass in Austria were the first major projects undertaken. After World War II the activities abroad started in Iraq 1962 and the activities abroad were strengthened. PZ was working in Saudia Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Libya, Brasil and last but not least Abu Dhabi.
Since 1977, PZ is operating successfully in Abu Dhabi.
Activities in Abu Dhabi stretch from Interchange No.5, Hospitals, High Rise Buildings, Palaces and Special Buildings for the UAE Army. In March 1981 PZ was founded as a Local Company in Abu Dhabi.
