The Motor Oil Hellas (MOH) is a leading Company in the oil refining sector, supplying the markets with a wide range of reliable energy products. The company has developed into one of the main pillars of the national economy, while preserving and leading role in the wider region of Southeast Europe. The Refinery with its ancillary plants and offsite facilities forms the largest private industrial complex in Greece and is considered one of the most modern refineries in Europe. It can process various types of crude oil, producing a wide range of petroleum products, which meet the most stringent international standards, thus serving major oil companies in Greece and abroad. In addition, the CBM is the only Greek company producing and packaging lubricants. The generated key and finally lubricants are approved by international organizations (Association des Constructeur Europeens d'Automobiles, American Petroleum Institute) and the US Armed Forces. The Refinery located in Agii Theodori, Corinth, about 70 km. Away from Athens. The CBM Quality Management System is certified according to ISO 9001: 2008 for the production, marketing and delivery of fuels, biofuels, lubricants, waxes and asphalt products. The Environmental Management System is certified it according to ISO 14001: 2004 for environmental management systems, as well as the Health and Safety system with OHSAS 18001: 2007. The refinery of MOE is one of the few in Europe that has been certified for all three systems.
The Company's commitment to continuous improvement of quality is universal. As part of this commitment, in September 2006 was accredited Laboratory Refinery, according to ISO 17025: 2005 by the National Accreditation System (ESYD). The certification is valid until September 2018.
Additionally, since 2007 the Company implementing its commitment to continuous improvement in environmental management, issued a voluntary basis of the annual Environmental Statement, according to the European Regulation EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) 1221/2009 certified by Bureau Veritas .
