Montefibre Group is one of the most important producers of acrylic fiber with a total production capacity of around 200 Kt/y in two production sites:

Miranda de Ebro (Spain) Montefibre Hispania S.A.U.; 100 % owned
Jilin City (People's Republic of China) Jilin Jimont Acrylic Fiber Co. Ltd. ; a 50/50 joint venture with Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co. Ltd.

In addition to a worldwide recognised technical leadership in the acrylic fiber business, Montefibre Group holds a wide product portfolio, including specialities, and important market shares in several geographic areas.

Regarding innovation a special emphasis is put on: Consumer safety and comfort. Research and Development of eco-friendly technologies and products.

The European factory has also received the ISO 14001 certification for environment management, the ISO 9001 certification for Quality management and OHSAS for workers safety and health.
