MID Contracting Company is a Jordan based construction contractor established in 1991 as a limited liability company.
The founders started the company modestly targeting the local market with an eye on the regional and international markets. Over the 22-year, the unremitting dedication and hard work of its distinguished professional team, along with the willpower and determination of its founders, have all granted MID Contracting the aptitude to construct several specialized projects in Jordan and abroad.
Adherence to international practices in environmental, Safety, and Quality management as well as Project Management Standards, has granted MID Contracting both local and regional recognition. In the year 1997, MID Contracting was the first Jordanian General Contracting Company to achieve the ISO 9002 Certification. The Quality Management System of MID Contracting has been modified to comply with the ISO 9001:2008, and currently MID Contracting is in the implementation stage to achieve the Environmental Management System Certificate ISO 14001, and the Safety Management System Certificate OHSAH 18001.
In 2008, MID Contracting moved under MID Global Investment Group (MGIG) that was originally established by the same founders in 2002 as private shareholding company. This corporate restructuring was meant to integrate and complement the capacity of the group and its flagship; MID Contracting towards approaching a range of BOT, BOOT, and DBOT projects, as well as PPP’s. The vision of the founders is to set the group (MGIG) as the Master Developer/concessioner/Investor, while having MID Contracting handling the EPC parts of such projects.
