The roots of studio reach 1986, when it has emerged, within the confines of the project group of the Department of Architecture of Gdansk Institute of Technology, the project of housing estate "Dąbrowa" in Gdynia. The wave of structural conversions and economic expressions, the leaders of the group Jerzy Kaczorowski, Jacek Droszcz and Adam Drohomirecki set up one of the first private architecture studios in 1989 known as "KWADRAT". The studio has project activity in the sphere of residential architecture as well as public utilities. The studio has author character in each architect may develop his individuality and creative passion here. Since 1995 Studio has its own building in Gdynia-Kolibki in renewed antique - water mill and is led by architect Jacek Droszcz and Basil Domst. Studio Square participated in numerous architectural competitions winning more than 40 awards and honors.
