Founded in Leeds as Kemps Neon in 1989 by siblings, Mark and Mandy Kemp, it didn't take long for our passion for pushing the boundaries to shine through. Kemps was soon enjoying the limelight as one of the UK's largest, most reliable suppliers of high quality neon signage for many of the UK's sign companies.
As the market for neon signage boomed, Kemps continued their thirst for innovation investing in new technology to drive their expertise forwards into Cold Cathode lighting. In the year 2000, we invested in a brand new purpose-built factory which allowed our team to use their experience and love of the medium to develop a new range of Cold Cathode products that answered the advancing demands of lighting designers across the globe.
