EOS Holding is a strategic holding company whose mission is to coordinate and represent the interests of its shareholders, Romande Energie SA, Groupe E SA, the City of Lausanne, the Industrial Services of Geneva and FMV SA. Its activities revolve around two main axes:
The development of a "Romande" platform dedicated to New Renewable Energies (NER) in production, in addition to and in line with the activities of shareholders in this field, with the objective of 1 TWh of green energy generation in wind power And solar on the ground abroad, as well as in solar on rooftops and deep geothermal in Switzerland. This makes EOS Holding one of the Swiss leaders in the field of onshore wind power.
Active management of its stake in Alpiq, the largest energy group in Switzerland, was born from the merger between Atel and EOS in early 2009 and in which EOS Holding holds a 31.4% stake.
Investments are also planned in SMEs active in the fields of NER, electricity storage and energy efficiency, with the aim of enhancing EOS Holding's collaboration programs with universities.
