Founded in 1987, Cracknell is an independent, award-winning, globally recognised
landscape architecture, urban design & masterplanning practice. We are renowned for
our focus on innovation, sustainability, design integrity and technological expertise.
During our 35 years we have completed over two thousand projects across all stages
of design through to implementation, spanning the Middle East, Europe, Asia and
Africa. We strongly believe in creating beautiful, resilient & sustainable communities to
improve the lives of people from all walks of life.
Our work ranges from world-famous iconic landmarks to sensitive settings for cultural
heritage, from sustainable retail and resort destinations to the open spaces of city
parks, plazas and green residential communities. We have helped shape the standards
of landscape and urban design in the UAE and set a benchmark for landscape quality
and excellence. We have contributed significantly to the creation of liveable external
space in inhospitable climates and to the interconnectivity of BIM best practice and
collaborative 3D design within the landscape profession. Constantly innovating, we are
leaders in our profession helping to find solutions to the global issues of city resilience
and healthy living.
In understanding and balancing the interests of our international clients, stakeholders
and end-users we ensure that each project meets its brief whilst also recognising our
responsibilities as custodians of our environment and habitats for future generations.
A truly international multi-disciplinary practice, the Cracknell team includes over 270
talented and passionate individuals from many countries and cultures. We are landscape
architects, artists, engineers, architects and specialist technicians. We have six studios
worldwide but we operate as one. This 360° collaborative approach is fundamental to
the success of everything that we do. Working with both world-renowned consultants
and local practices we are known for our ability to think globally whilst working locally.
