He has worked in different areas of the Directorate General of International Economic Relations (DIRECON). It was Chile’s ambassador to Uruguay and Permanent Representative of the country to ALADI. He has been senior consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, United States. Until now serving as Director of the Economic Directorate of the Foreign Ministry, and militant of the Chilean Socialist Party.
