It engages in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas in onshore and offshore oilfields in Algeria, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Spain, Suriname, Thailand, Malaysia, Kenya, and Abu Dhabi; refining and production of oil products, such as diesel, gasoline, fuel-oil, kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other products; and marketing of motor and other fuels, LPG, marine and aviation fuels, asphalts, and lubricants through sales channels, as well as through a network of agents and distributors. The company also manufactures, distributes, and sells basic petrochemicals and petrochemical intermediates; supplies gas in wholesale and retail markets; and supplies crude oil and other products to the refineries.
