Berger Paints had its colourful beginning in 1760, when Lewis Berger, an enterprising young German chemist had his big breakthrough. He had perfected the manufacturing process for Prussian Blue, one of the most important pigments of that period. This achievement marked the arrival of Berger Paints as a modern paint manufacturing company. Today, Berger Paints is a global force with a strong presence in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean Islands, the South Pacific, and the Middle East.
Berger has a strong manufacturing base in the Middle East, with dedicated plants in Dubai, Muscat and Bahrain. These fully automated units create our range of Middle East specific products. They are equipped with aseptic processing areas, computerized dosing stations to create finely calibrated formulations, R & D centres that incubate innovative paint technologies and automated loading bays to respond to orders in an agile fashion.
Our team thrives on a culture of inclusivity, and we lay emphasis on collaboration. Our folks have a strong sense of ownership, and revel in the open and interactive work culture. Innovation and invention are of prime importance in any organization and in our industry, doubly so. Performance and agility are highly valued at Berger. Diversity is cherished and nourished, as we believe our people can bring their unique perspectives to play in adding strength and creativity to the Berger offering.
Continuous learning is key to the growth of the individual and the organization. Training forms an important part of the experience at Berger Paints. Leadership qualities are reinforced; competencies are upgraded. And we regularly recruit new and emerging talents from top institutes.
