Al Bayaty Architects was established in Baghdad in the year of 1978 by Dr. Muthana Al-Bayaty after completing his PhD in Architecture from the University of Pensylvania. He headed the young establishment and managed to lead it and achieve high professional reputation in Iraq. The firm designed and won many iconic projects such as the State Grand Mosque.
In the year 1997, Dr Bayaty established an office in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. followed by two offices in Dubai and Fujairah.
