Al-Hosn Investment Company S.A.O.C (HIC), is a closed stock investment company established in 2007, and located in The Sultanate of Oman. It is a partnership between Qatar Holding, a subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority, and Oman Investment Fund, a sovereign wealth fund of The Sultanate of Oman. Each of the Company’s two shareholders holds 50% of the authorized share capital.
HIC’s investment strategy focuses on investments in the Sultanate of Oman and in other GCC countries.
HIC investments target vital economic sectors including healthcare, education, aquaculture, industrial and manufacturing, telecom / media / technology. Additionally, HIC may consider other growth sectors, on a case by case basis.
HIC currently focuses on Private Equity and Venture Capital Investments.
