Al-Baraka Oilfield Services is one of the Super local community contractors (SLCC) for the south of the Sultanate of Oman, the company was formed in 2011 taking advantage of the support that MOG and PDO have committed to offer in terms of contracts in core services, technical expertise and finance.
Al Baraka Oilfield Services (BOS) is a closed share holding company registered in Ministry of Commerce, Sultanate of Oman with all its shareholders coming from oil producing concession areas in the southern part of the Sultanate of Oman. The company has already been awarded contracts by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in Well Engineering ( Workover Hoists Contracts ) and in Flowline Replacement. In addition to above, BOS manages other contracts on PMC basis ( Pipeline Integrity Contract, Manpower Supply Contract, Logistics Contract, ... etc). BOS plans to become a full fledged ODC contractor within the next two years and grow from two Workover Hoists to Four to Five Workover Hoists units within the next two to three years.
