The Department of Ajman Municipality and Planning was founded under the law (1) for the year 1968, issued by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. The Department accomplished several achievements in the "Race for Excellence" and participated in more than one award in this area, and was considered the most distinguished among the local departments over the past five years, due to the wise policy pursued by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Department, and his continuous follow-up of the workflow and his eagerness to communicate continuously with its leaders and employees. Its repeated successes are also due to the success stories achieved by virtue of the major developments that have occurred in services, its policy in the application of management standards, outstanding in all its forms, and the keenness to continue the policy of electronic-transformation in all its dealings with its strategic partners inside and outside the Emirate.
