Abu Dhabi Gas Development Ltd, “A Limited Liability Company” (Al Hosn Gas) was established by the Emiri Decree no. (03/2010) issued on 1st February 2010. It is one of the ADNOC Group of Companies. The new company headquarter is based in the city of Abu Dhabi.
The purpose of the company is to develop the Arab A, B, C and D sour gas reservoirs located in the Shah Field onshore of Abu Dhabi. The field was explored in 1966. It is the joint venture of ADNOC and Occidental Petroleum Corporation.
