ADNOC Offshore was formed through the consolidation of two of ADNOC’s upstream oil and gas companies: Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) and Zakum Development Company (ZADCO). ADMA-OPCO’s shareholders are ADNOC, which holds a majority share of 60%, JODCO, BP and Total. ZADCO’s shareholders are ADNOC, Exxon Mobil, and JODCO.
The consolidation of the two companies yields significant financial and operational benefits, including a more agile structure and the ability to share specialist technologies, skills and experience. As an integrated business, ADNOC Offshore now has the bandwidth and flexibility to better meet changing market demands, take advantage of emerging opportunities for future growth, and maximize value for our shareholders.
