Our road safety products meet the International Road Crashworthy Standards of the new millennium US Manual Assessment of Safety Hardware (MASH). This program supersedes and replaces all levels of earlier standards including the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP350).
Under (MASH) all barrier traffic devices are qualified as capable of preventing out of control vehicles from penetrating barrier systems and redirecting these vehicles back on to the roadway.
As passenger vehicles from the 1990’s such as SUV and 4x4 drives increased in design mass and higher speed levels became the practice, higher performance road barrier systems were developed to maintain safer impact outcomes and lower vehicular occupant risks.
