The National Sanitation Office (ONAS) is a society Tunisian of public law non-administrative. Its main mission is to manage the sanitation sector. ONAS has its main missions the fight against the sources of water pollution, the management, operation, maintenance, renewal and construction of any works destined for the sanitation of the cities whose management is fixed by Decree, promotion of the distribution and sale of treated water and sludge from sewage treatment plants, planning and implementation of sanitation projects and development and implementation of integrated water treatment projects waste and disposal of rainwater.
