NGE Energies - Developer
Since 2009, NGE has been engaged in the production of renewable energies.
The development of renewable energies is at the heart of the concerns of Nantes Métropole (Plan Climat) and the city of Nantes (sustainable development action plan). Nantes and Nantes Métropole wanted NGE to support their efforts in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the implementation of renewable energy production solutions.
Areas, modalities and area of intervention
NGE invests in projects whose ecological utility and economic equilibrium are convincing, because it intervenes in own risk on these operations. It does not benefit from a subsidy for these investments, with the exception of heat networks where ADEME can grant a project in the form of a grant. In these operations NGE is an investor and operator for photovoltaics.
NGE also advises clients on renewable energy issues. NGE becomes one of the operational players of the climate plan of the Nantes metropolis as an investor and operator of 13 photovoltaic power plants (1.2 MWp) by the end of 2014.
