Mtk Architects-Consultants was founded by M. Turhan KAYASU in 1974 in Ankara. The office lasted until 1982 when M. Turhan Kayasu went to Saudi Arabia between 1982-1989. The office was resumed in 1990 and since then, it is continuing its works in architecture, engineering, interior design and consultancy. Recently, the office runs on a partnership between M. Turhan Kayasü and Mert Kayasu.
Throughout the years the office has accomplished various types of projects. Among the variety, the office is highly specialized on healthcare, railway, educational and residential buildings. Regarding these building types, the office has been involved in prestigious projects and has accumulated a remarkable know-how.
The design philosophy of the office embraces establishing a strong empathy with the client to understand, define and sometimes redefine their needs, analyzing the physical and social context, optimizing the solutions on a occupant comfort basis to create contemporary, yet regional and rational buildings that not only increases the quality of the occupant life but also contributes to the urban experience.
