Ecotenia - Turbine Manufacturer
Ecotècnia was a manufacturer and installer of wind turbines established in 1981, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. In 1999 it became part of the Basque-based cooperative Mondragon Corporation. In mid 2007 Alstom acquired Ecotècnia for 350 million euros. In Nov 2015 all of Alstom's energy generation and transmission assets were acquired by General Electric, the combined business under GE was to be named GE Power.
