CWind began as a spin-off of CTruk Group, founded by local entrepreneur Andy White. At the time, he declared that establishing CWind was not just about meeting the needs of the new wind farm industry, but also about regenerating the local seafaring community, a strategy that had worked well in other areas of the UK where offshore wind farms were being built.
Initially, CWind focused exclusively on offshore wind, allowing us to become recognized experts in the field, and giving us a unique ability to team up our highly skilled, well-trained and proven project solutions with flexible, multi-tasking and fuel-efficient vessels. Today, our skills and resources are available for both off- and onshore wind farm projects.
