Founder and Managing Director of Cohaes, Michael Billard is a French architect living in Dubai. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Architecture in France, in the prestigious School of Architecture of Nantes. He also received Vocational Degrees in Technical Design and Structural Steel. After graduation, he worked as a 3D Visualizer and then moved to Paris, where he worked on several architecture competitions for France and Europe. His background is rich of diverse experiences such as Smith Welder, for industry, or Technical Engineer, for prestigious Shipyard in France with Alstom and the Netherlands with Heesen Yachts.
Michael Billard has been working in Dubai and the Middle East since 2008, demonstrating a great adaptive capability to work on different scales and styles according to the region’s culture and architectural heritage. For eight years, he has been collaborating with the most renowned international architecture firms (DWP, A-cero, and lately SAOTA & ARRCC) and demonstrated unconditional commitment to deliver the best exclusive designs to satisfy clients. Michael always ensures that architects, consultants and clients co-operate in harmony, creating synergies that fulfill everyone’s interests.
