Blue Energy Group was established in 2010 by Mark Healey and Chris Dean and is one of the United Kingdom’s fastest growing investors and developers of renewable energy projects, focused on developing, owning and operating onshore wind farms and large scale solar PV generating assets. To-date, the company has built and financed a portfolio comprising over 345MW of wind farms under management and in construction and remains acquisitive.Blue Energy has assembled a highly experienced project delivery team with market leading expertise in the financing and delivery of renewable projects in the UK and a wide range of international jurisdictions. Members of the team have been involved in developing, financing, constructing and operating some of the world’s most prominent renewable energy, conventional energy and infrastructure projects, including solar PV, offshore and onshore wind, anaerobic digestion and other projects.Blue Energy invest in a wide variety of renewable energy projects across the world and increasingly on a larger scale. We continue to develop one of Africa’s largest solar plants and currently have four large scale projects in construction which are planned to go operational in late 2016 and 2017.We have grown our business in renewable technologies since we completed our first UK development in 2011. During the first five years we developed and financed over 345MW of renewable projects in the UK.We continue to develop and acquire new projects in the UK and wider international arena. Our projects are designed to optimise power generation and minimise local and environmental impact whilst also seeking to maintain our reputation for providing a sensitive and consultative approach to the environment and communities in which we operate.
