Al-Mawahib Private School is a newly formed school catering for students from KG1 to Grade 6. Taking a new distinctive approach to education it aims to take positive steps forward in providing an academic and social education designed to produce future generations capable of playing a significant part in the ever-developing world. Al-Mawahib believes that such a goal can best be achieved by school, Pupil, and Home working together. As such, highly qualified staff, familiar with the local environment, have been carefully selected to teach the internationally recognized British Curriculum, carefully adapted to suit the needs of students here in the UAE.
The School believes that pupils achieve more when feeling comfortable and secure in their surroundings. For this reason, Al-Mawahib has made every effort possible to give students state of the art resources, coupled with small pupil/teacher ratios to ensure that all achieve their full potential. In addition, students are provided with strong pastoral support with a House system and buddy scheme operating throughout the school.
Students are also be given the opportunity to view their opinions on the school and play a major role in its development. At the same time, Al-Mawahib welcomes the positive role can play in a school. Workshops and newsletters are just part of the planned programme aimed to help parents participate widely in their child"s education. At the same time, the school welcomes all parents" comments and opinions regarding the day to day running of the school.
