In 1998, M/s Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) started the Natural Gas Distribution Project, planning and executing the delivery of natural gas services to all areasin the Sharjah Emirate to both the residential and commercial sectors. This was a turning point in the development of Sharjah and the first of its kind in the UAE and the region which serves about 132,000 consumers in all sectors.
